# Working for Long-term Relationship
I had my first girlfriend when I was 16 years old. That's when I reached my third year in high school. But as young as I was, I forgot one of the fundamental rules in a relationship: HUMBLENESS + FORGIVENESS = LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP
I realized this life-changing, mind-boggling, earth-shaking formula for a long-term relationship as I grow up in becoming a man on my own. I've come to realized as well that being regretful about the past does not help in the process of learning new things for better.
Let me tell you my story.
After the break-up, I wanted to get rid of the memories with her in my mind. Why? Because I wanted to move on and focus on other things like improving my grades, working on my research study (since I was a school science researcher that time), giving my self more time to learn on new things and so on.
Those were signs of immaturity. I was trying to heal the symptoms and not the disease. Symptoms like self-pity, self-rejection, self-disapproval and self-unawareness -- all driven by fear which is the ultimate disease I have experienced.
What I did were totally opposite to what I really wanted. It was like I was baking a vegetable salad which, later on, resulting to a different product.
The result? Self-denial.
I realized that there are ways to treat the disease (not only the symptoms):
SELF-ACCEPTANCE. Unless you accept yourself for being YOU, you will know how to handle problems. Because you know yourself far more than anyone else may have known you. American author and poet Jane Roberts said “You must love yourself before you love another. By accepting yourself and fully being what you are, your simple presence can make others happy.
UNDERSTANDING THE CAUSE, NOT ONLY THE EFFECT. I learned to understand that the reason why our relationship did not work was because we were too young to be true and we were immature toddler. By just understanding the main cause, surely you will get to understand the effect after.
FORGIVE EASILY SO YOU CAN MOVE ON RIGHT AWAY. It really doesn't matter if the person who hurt you deserves to be forgiven. Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. You have things to do and you want to move on. I'm not telling that it is easy as 1-2-3 to forgive. But you only have two options: Don’t forgive and suffer or forgive and move on. By the end of the day, it's good to stay a friends, is not it?
BE OPEN. Why afraid of talking about your emotion/problem to your family or friends?
CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY. In the book of 1 Thessalonians 5:16, St. Paul said “Be joyful always.” The Holy Bible teaches us to be happy not now, not tomorrow but always! Give yourself a perfect day. Do what makes you happiest. Look upon what gives you joy. Speak to those who warm your heart. Listen to that which lifts your spirit. Surround yourself with sights and sounds and people who give you pleasure. For all the happiness you give to others all year long, give yourself a perfect day.
LOVE AGAIN. Love can be healed by love, in due time. If you will stop loving, you are stealing the chance from yourself to learn and embrace change. I want to share what Lady Diana Frances Spencer, beloved Princess of Wales, said about love.
“Perhaps we're too embarrassed to change or too frightened of the consequences of showing that we actually care. But why not risk it anyway? Begin today. Carry out a random act of seemingly senseless kindness, with no expectation of reward or punishment, safe in the knowledge that one day, someone somewhere might do the same for you.”
-Princess Diana of Wales was so true.
In fact, the Bible teaches us to do all our works in love (1 Corinthians 16:14). Why then stop?
These are my key points in treating my fear. And I live with these principles today.
I want to give emphasis on the secret formula: HUMBLENESS + FORGIVENESS = LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP. If you are humble enough to accept things with all your hearts, then you will succeed in every relationship you'll have. In addition to humbleness is also forgiveness. When you forgive others, you are embracing changes and therefore move on.
I should have worked on our relationship before to last. But because of what happened, I learned from it. I grew more as a person. I embraced change. And moved on.
Today, I still encounter emotional pains. That's normal as long as we live. But I am getting more mature to handle them. If you fail, that's okay. Start again. As what Ophrah Winfrey said "It's not a failure if you enjoy the process."
Friends, I am not that totally mature enough at this age. With my limited experience, I can't tell you more how do handle difficulties in life. I am an eternal student – learning everyday. I will have to go through many pains and tears to learn more and more, like you.
Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:7
One thing for sure, I just trust God in everything I do. I believe God is patient for me and He guides me well. For that, I will never give up in working for a long-term relationship. I will never quit in finding my one-true love.
I was born to be a winner. I am God's champion.
Let me pray here. Together let us say:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I see the goodness of your work in me everyday. I want to thank you for making me your Champion. I am your son, and you are my Father. You just want the best in me. Father, I may sometimes about to give up in finding one-true love but I know you're working on it everyday. Sometimes I am about to quit but I know you're there. I simply want to thank you for loving me, Father. Thank you for helping me realized the fundamental keys in working out long-term relationship.
I would like to give you back the honor and glory for your marvelous work in me by serving you and your church. I love you Father as much as you love me.
Father, help me to be more optimistic in finding love in whatever I do. Help me to become more patient and more loving person. Help me to find my one-true love. I trust Father that you will answer my prayers in the best possible ways.

# How Bo Sanchez Changed My Entire Life

I've known Bro. Bo when I was 31 years old through his very first book published "Thank God, He’s the Boss."
Now that I'm turning 33 this July, I want to share the insights how Bro. Bo helped change my entire life for the past two(2) years. He had brought a lot of good things in my life but I will focus more on one thing to make my article straight and narrow.
BO TAUGHT ME TO LOVE GOD MORE AND MORE EACH DAY.
I thought before that God don't love me. I even imagined he cursed my family that's why we are so poor. I thought he doesn't like me. And that my life is forever miserable. In the middle of nowhere, i browse on the net:www.kerygmafamily.com..that was started my visioned in life and little by little my life has been changed.
After then,I love reading books and that time i subscribed a kerygma magazine every year.Look at my Internet Business its full of books.In those few months of reading, my entire life changed forever. A paradigm shift!
I came to know God more. Here, God entered my life.
At that precise moment, I felt so much pain in my heart reading through each passage knowing the fact that I was worshiping a false and wrong God – a god of fear, god of condemnation, god of hatred, god of insecurities, and god of selfishness. I suffered so much because of the distorted image of the God I’ve known for the past years in my life.
Thanks to that life-changing book.
I am forever grateful to Bro. Bo that in my early age, he helped me know Jesus and helped me feel His love for me. Bro. Bo revealed to me the true image of God – the God of pure love, God of acceptance, God of hope and God of mercy.
When I first arrived in Davao last March 22, 2010 to attend the feast, I immediately observed what is feast is all about. That's the start of my life being part of a fantastic Catholic Charismatic family – Light of Jesus. I call it a family because we love each other there so much like a real family.
I've been reading the Kerygma Magazine for two years now. I’ve been reading other publications of Shepherd Voice as well like Didache, a daily Bible reflection and Companion, a scripture diary both designed for Catholics. (But both were created for everybody, of course.) I've been watching Bro. Bo's reality online show at preacher in blue jeans (www.PreacherInBlueJeans.com) and continuously feel the love of God because him every single day.
In effect, I became more prayerful. I worship my loving God every time I wake each day. I always talk about Jesus when talking to people. I was able to fix my broken relationship with my family and friends, too. I became more positive person. And most of all, I became more loving and responsible person.
True enough that I can’t give what I do not have. And God won’t do the things I can do myself. That’s why two years ago, I made a decision to learn and earn more so that I can give even more. I allowed God to make me truly rich not only for my self, but for my family and for others especially the poor.
I’m one of the Kerygma Ambassadors as well. I simply love it!
I really believe on this: GOD WANTS TO GIVE YOU ABUNDANCE TO BRING HEAVEN ON EARTH.

As I leave that place, I came to realized that heaven is like the Anawim. We might be abandoned here on earth but God prepares a wonderful place to live. Not in
Montalban Rizal but in His gigantic majestic Kingdom above.
Are you excited? But before that, we need to fulfill our mission God commanded to us here on earth – the essence of being alive.
Tears were falling from my eyes for unknown reasons as I walk down the road from Anawim. Perhaps I want to stay there. Perhaps I want to be with lolo's and lola's there. I don't know.
But one thing I know: GOD CALLS US TO LOVE, SERVE AND HELP EVERY PEOPLE.
What more? I learned how to invest in mutual funds and stocks. I am also having a small business online and it's earning so well – all these because I opened myself to God's abundant blessings. Who can forget that He is our father? We are worthy of His blessings. He wants to give us great abundance, right?
Friends, please allow me to write a letter to Bro. Bo here. I hope Bro Bo would read this simple article about the goodness of his works in me.
Bro Bo,
If you’re reading this right now, let me thank you for showing God's love to me and to others. Thank you so much for helping me to change my life for better. Thank you for making me realized that it's so great and so amazing to live each day, walk each day, sleep each day, speak each day and write each day with God's divine providence and God’s unfading love.
Through God's words and through your wisdom, I know life will become more wonderful every single day.
I hope I can attend one of your pilgrimages outside the country. I hope I can attend to your future retreats, workshops and seminars. I hope I will be given a chance to write one article in Kerygma Magazine, the number one inspirational magazine in the Philippines to share wisdom and inspire people. It’s that a big dream enough? Bro. Bo, you taught me how to dream big. I’ll blame you for that. Ha-ha.
I won't stop because God won't stop working and giving blessings in my life until we’ll find each other in heaven.

The True Multimillionaires
# The True Multimillionaires
I had a meeting with two true multimillionaires earlier – Rico Ruiz and CK Agbayani. If I say ‘true’, I mean it. Aside from earning millions a month, Rico and CK own BWM cars and several real estate properties to name a few.
Both Rico and CK are my rich dads and financial mentors when it comes to my Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) business with Global Fusion Incorporated (GFI Inc.)
What makes them ‘true’ multimillionaires?
Rico and CK have the same passion – to create millionaires!
Now, that’s not the only thing that makes them true multimillionaires. Their humbleness, wisdom and courage to help others are the things that make the truly wealthy.
They love God so much. And they believe that the ultimate purpose of money is to love and serve others. Many people think that being wealthy is being greedy. That’s the mindset of most Filipinos. No doubt many remain poor. (I know there are greedy millionaires. Please don’t follow them. Be with those millionaires who have fear in God.)
If you will ask me two years ago about business, nada! I will laugh at you. I will tell you, “No way will I run a business. I don’t want risky things. I don’t want problems.”
That was two years ago.
What made me decided to go into businesses and earn much is my passion to help others. Like Rico and CK, I believe that God gives us freedom to run our own life (of course, God guides us along the way). We are the one who makes our own destiny. If you choose to remain poor, it’s not because God wants you to be poor but it is because you choose to remain poor.
I believe that God loves us so much. I believe that God wants to give us great blessings. I believe God wants to give us abundance. I believe that God wants us to prosper. Why? Because God is expecting us to share, give and be charitable to others.
We are worthy of His blessings and abundance because we are His children. Who could forget that?
“Ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you… As bad as you are, you know how to give good things to your children. How much more, then, will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” –Matthew 7:7-11

Today I open myself to the abundance of the universe. Use me as Your channel of love and kindness. Make me as Your instrument to bring heaven to earth. Give me the ability to create wealth and true riches that will bless the world. Increase my financial wisdom and expand my territories. And teach me Lord that the ultimate purpose of money is to love and serve You and your people.
Lord, give me more courage to work and fulfill my dreams that You have planted in my heart. Sharpen my knowledge, talents and skills. I trust You Lord that You will work on my business in heaven as I work on your business here on earth.
And guide me everyday to take the right path to your Kingdom.
